ATHLETIC FEE
The Arapahoe High School athletic fee is set by Littleton Public Schools.
$175 per sport/athlete; $350 maximum per athlete/per year; $700 maximum per family/per year. **
This participation fee is required for all student-athletes. It will not be charged if the student-athlete does not make a team or if they choose not to participate prior to the first contest, including scrimmages.
The Athletic Fee goes to the District to help offset the cost of operating our sports programs. Arapahoe booster clubs may have additional fees to help run the individual sports programs.
** These fees do not apply to Boys Volleyball. For these fees, please contact the booster club.
ELIGIBILITY
All student-athletes must be eligible for competition under the policies established by the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA). These policies can be found on their website at www.chsaa.org. Please see the LPS Athletic Code of Conduct Handbook for additional information or contact the Arapahoe High School Athletic Director.
The Arapahoe Athletic Department runs a Weekly Eligibility Report every Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. This report determines a student-athlete's eligibility to compete the following week (Monday thru Saturday).
In order to become eligible after the Weekly Eligibility Report has been pulled, the student-athlete must bring their failing grade up to a passing grade within their Infinite Campus grade book and bring a report showing the new grade to the Athletic Office before 4:00 p.m. the Friday of the week the report is run. The Athletic Office must approve the changed grade and sign off on the student's new report. A copy of this new grade report must be taken by the student-athlete and given to their coach in order to be allowed to participate in competitions the following week.
